At approximately 11:20AM, the identified exhaust was removed and the alarm was reset. Individuals were allowed to re-enter the premises

On February 24, 2020 at approximately 10:30 AM, The University of Alabama Police Department responded to the Science and Engineering Complex to investigate a potential gas leak. The leak was confined to one building. UAPD and emergency personnel are utilizing the building’s fire alarm system to evacuate everyone.

This notification is part of UA’s commitment to providing campus safety information with the Jeanne Clery Act.
