TUSCALOOSA POLICE INVESTIGATE OFF-CAMPUS ROBBERY
The Tuscaloosa Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in the 1400 block of Paul Bryant Drive. On September 20, 2014 at approximately 9:48 pm, the victim reported that the suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her purse. The victim attempted to hold on to the purse but the suspect was able to take possession of it and fled the area on foot north toward 9th St. No weapons were reported.
The suspect is described as follows:
- a dark-skinned male
- wearing dark long pants, dark shirt and a brimmed safari style tan hat
- approximately 5’08”
- approximately 135 to 150 lbs
