ARREST MADE IN NOVEMBER 2nd ROBBERY
On Thursday, November 13, 2008, University Police arrested Anthony James Lee in connection with the robbery that occurred in the Solomon’s parking lot on November 2, 2008. UAPD investigators charged Lee on three counts of Robbery I. He was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on $60,000 bond.

UNIVERSITY POLICE INVESTIGATE ROBBERY
Three people (two female UA-students and a non-UA male acquaintance) reported to University of Alabama Police that they were the victims of a robbery that occurred at approximately 1:15 a.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2008. The group reported that they were approached by an unknown male while walking in the Solomon’s parking lot (south of 6th street near Wallace Wade avenue). The unknown male started a casual conversation with the group, then pulled a pistol from his pocket and demanded property from them. The unknown male then ran to a light colored SUV waiting on Wallace Wade, which drove away southward toward Bryant Drive. None of the group were injured.
The description provided of the suspect is as follows:
- Male – Medium Complexion
- Age 20’s
- Approximately 5′ 09″ in height
- Heavy set
- Wearing a white hooded sweat shirt with a design and baggie jeans
