UNIVERSITY POLICE INVESTIGATE CAMPUS HARASSMENT
A female University of Alabama student reported to University Police that she was the victim of a harassment that occurred between 12:25 and 1:15 A.M. on Saturday, November 13, 2010. The victim stated she was walking alone on the sidewalk near the southeast corner of the Quad when a male walked alongside her and asked to talk with her for a moment. The male placed his hand on the small of her back and steered her toward the Quad. She ran away from the male, called some friends, and subsequently reported the incident to UAPD. The victim did not sustain any injuries.
The descriptions provided of the suspect is as follows:
- Male – Dark Complexion
- Approximately 6’ 0” or taller
- Heavy athletic build
- Wearing a dark oversized t-shirt and dark jeans
- Perceived to be college-aged
- Spoke with a deep voice
