Law Enforcement Responds to Attempted Theft 2-11-2018

Off-campus attempted theft 2.11.18

 

Shortly after 12 a.m. Feb. 11, 2018, a student reported an attempted off-campus theft in the parking lot near the Roanoke Apartments on Thomas Street (behind Publix). The victim was approached while sitting in a car. The suspect vehicle pulled into the parking lot behind the student’s vehicle and opened the victim’s driver side door and demanded their phone and other items. A second suspect approached the victim’s vehicle as well and also began demanding items. The suspects did not present any weapons and did not get away with any property. The suspect vehicle, a black Dodge Charger, was last seen turning east onto Riverside Drive.

 

The appearance of the suspects was reported to be:

Race: Black

Sex: Male

Height: 5’9” – 5’10”

Weight: Average build

Hair Color: Short twists/dreadlocks

Eye Color: Unknown

Age: 20-25

Additional Info: No obvious facial hair.

Race: Unknown

Sex: Male

Height: 5’9” – 5’10”

Weight: Average build

Hair Color: Unknown

Eye Color: Unknown

Age: Unknown

Additional Info: Wearing a hoodie.

– If confronted, give the perpetrator what they ask for. Your safety is more important.
