Law Enforcement Responds to Off Campus Robbery 5-28-2018

UAPD responded to an off-campus robbery that occurred at approximately 12:30 am on Monday, May 28, 2018, in the 300 block of Reed Street. The victim was robbed at gunpoint and a laptop was taken from their bag. There were no injuries and the two suspects drove away in a green SUV.
The appearance of the suspects was reported to be:
Suspect 1 (armed)
Race: Black
Sex: Male
Height: Approximately 5’8
Weight: Medium build
Hair: Shoulder length dreadlocks/ponytail Additional info: Black tank top with white jacket
Suspect 2
Race: Black
Sex: Male
Height: Approximately 5′
Weight: Thin build
Additional info: Black tank top, cargo shorts, red cap

- Be mindful of your surroundings
- If confronted, give the perpetrator what they ask for. Your safety is more important.
While not required by the Clery Act for timely warnings, some incidents that happen off campus may be sent to the campus community in the interest of public safety.
