Police Investigate Off-Campus Shooting

A suspect was apprehended and charged for the off-campus shooting on July 14th. This case is closed.

Police responded to an off-campus shooting that occurred at approximately 2:15 a.m. Sunday, July 14, 2019, in the area around Moe’s BBQ and the federal courthouse at the 2100 block of University Blvd.

Two suspects in an older model black mid-size Chevrolet pickup truck fired multiple rounds into a black sedan. One female victim was struck and has been admitted to DCH Hospital.

Additional info:  Possible first name given as “Jeremy” by one witness. Last name unknown. The truck had side steps.
