ROBBERY INVESTIGATION FROM 1300 UNIVERSITY BLVD. CLOSED UNFOUNDED
The Tuscaloosa Police Department’s follow-up investigation has revealed that the 24 year old, non-UA male, was not a victim of a robbery as first reported. Tuscaloosa Police Department has closed their robbery investigation based on evidence obtained during their investigation.

TUSCALOOSA POLICE INVESTIGATE OFF-CAMPUS ROBBERY
A 24 year old non-UA male reported to the Tuscaloosa Police Department Sunday afternoon, March 14, 2010, that he was the victim of a robbery that occurred at approximately 3:15 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010, in the 1300 block of University Boulevard. The male reported that he was walking to his parked vehicle after getting off work when a female and two males called him over to them. Two other males approached while he was talking with the first group. The female told the victim to give them his money. When he attempted to run away, one of the males struck him in the side of the face, knocking him to the ground. Members of the group then removed cash from the victim’s pants pockets and walked away. The victim was later treated for non-life threatening injuries at DCH Regional Medical and was subsequently released.
The description provided of the suspects is as follows:
Suspect One:
- Female
- Late 20’s
- Tanned complexion
- Long black curly hair
- Approximately 5′ 07″ in height and 150lbs
- Wearing a crimson Alabama pullover with a hood and blue jeans
Suspect Two:
- Male
- Late 30’s
- Light complexion
- Short brown hair and a goatee
- Approximately 5’10” in height and 170 lbs
- Wearing a white Alabama baseball cap and blue jeans
Suspect Three:
- Male
- Mid 20’s
- Light Complexion
- Dark hair
- Approximately 5’10” in height and 170 lbs
Suspect Four:
- Male
- Mid 20’s
- Light Complexion
- Dark hair
- Approximately 5’10” in height and 170 lbs
Suspect Five:
- Male
- Mid 20’s
- Dark Complexion
- Short dark hair
- Approximately 6’00” in height and 200 lbs
