UAPD Responds to On-Campus Attempted Robbery

The University of Alabama Police Department responded to an attempted robbery report on the evening of October 11th at approximately 11:45PM. The incident occurred near the intersection of Hackberry Lane in front of the Gordon Palmer Building. The victim was approached by the suspect and tackled while the suspect attempted to steal property from them. No items were ultimately stolen and the suspect fled on foot heading south on Hackberry Lane.

The appearance of the suspect was reported to be:

Clothing: black shirt with black pants
