UAPD Responds to On-Campus Robbery

UPDATE ON 9/28 INCIDENT

After further investigation, UAPD has determined that the incident reported on 9/28 was not a robbery, and the incident has been downgraded to Harassment. The victim’s property was found at the location of the incident.

The University of Alabama Police Department responded to a robbery report on the morning of September 28th at approximately 1:30AM. The incident occurred near the intersection of McCorvey Drive and Hackberry Lane, near Lakeside Dining. The victim was struck in the head and his Airpod headphones were stolen. There were 3 suspects reported to be involved with a possible 4th driving the vehicle. The suspects drove away in a dark sedan, possibly a black BMW. There were no additional injuries reported.
